FALL WORK PARTY

*** SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 ***

Work starts around 9:00am (show up when you can), and runs until about 1pm where there's a Barbecue Lunch provided to everyone who helps out.
Members should attend at least one work party every year, this is an ideal time to meet other members, and help the club defray maintenance costs.

The range will be closed from 8am until 4pm unless we decide to open it sooner. Any member who shows up will be expected to contribute.

A delicious BBQ lunch will be provided for all who attend.

The major tasks we need to accomplish:

Disciplines need to clean their containers (Urban Tactical Container needs leveling)
Clean up brass in Pistol House, Rifle Range and Practical Range
Some weeding in the back of the rifle range, and on the berms (save the open areas for the machinery)
Painting Benches on Black Powder/Smallbore as well as the pistol shed. We have someone with a paint sprayer coming, so we will need extra hands for prep work, namely wire brushing everything so paint will stick.
Repair of 600yd targets (Putting in new bolts)
Repair of rifle range roof (We have the sheets, just need to screw everything down)

We have tasks for every level of ability, so even if you can't get around that well, you can keep weed trimmer line refilled, gas topped up, or paint scraped.

Bring any tools you can for weed removal, a rake, shovel, weed-whip, trash picking tools, etc. A magnet on a stick for empty cases is also welcomed. Water and drinks will be provided, but as always, bring some extra. Bring sun protection, hats, and gloves as well. The more members we have participating means we get the job done sooner, and then back to shooting.
