Low Light Tactics

Ground Rules

Safety is our number one priority!

This is not a for all discipline. Shooters are required to have knowledge and experience with their firearms. The 180 rule is of limited use during our exercises. This will require all shooters to have common sense and most importantly FOLLOW ALL COMMANDS GIVEN BY THE LEAD OR RSO. Doing so will result in smooth operations. All of the shooter’s equipment should be inspected and in proper working order before each scheduled discipline date. This includes all batteries, comms equipment, white, IR, and thermal lighting equipment. Now this discipline is not all about night vision equipment, shooters are to participate with the equipment they have, and can afford. No shooter is to go into debt attempting to participate.

In future news letters I will share listings of helpful equipment not only for our discipline but for others and to take in mind for preparedness.

Schedule

Discipline is to take place on the evening of the First Saturday of each month. The safety brief will begin two hours before sunset. Discipline events will start 30 mins after the safety brief allowing for any final equipment checks. An email list will be generated and times for arrival will be passed through the established comm channel.
